OUR STORY
Since 2012, David J. and Linda A. Cornfield have executive produced numerous documentary and short films including Chasing Coral, Chasing Ice, Inventing Tomorrow, Won’t You Be My Neighbor, and The Love Bugs. These films have garnered Peabody Awards, Emmy® Awards, Alfred I DuPont-Columbia Awards, an Edward R Murrow Award, and two 2025 Oscar® nominations for Documentary Feature Film.
David and Linda saw an opportunity to leverage the power of storytelling through film to create meaningful change in the world. With this in mind, they co-founded the 501(c4) Far Star Action Fund in 2018. This fund partners with filmmakers and organizations to advance solutions to the world’s challenges, focusing on Good Governance and Civil Society, The Climate Crisis and the Environment, and STEAM Education and Systems Thinking.
